I’m a bit late but here is wishing that the holiday season brought blessings to you just as it did to me!

Cantique de Noël was sung in French by the great Italian tenor, Enrico Caruso 25 February 1873 Died 2 August 1921 (aged 48)
This recording was made in Camden, NJ just a few years before he died.

Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht was sung in German by beloved Ernestine Schumann-Heink (15 June 1861 – 17 November 1936) She was was a German-American operatic contralto greatly loved in this country and she always sang “Silent Night” over the radio on Christmas Eve’ for many years. This Christmas Eve’ broadcast was made the year before she died.

I believe Dinah Shore is singing Let it Snow!

WOW! You more than delivered on your promise to show your Christmas house. It is beyond words! Love it, love it! You have such a cozy home and so beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us. The best part was kitty in front of fireplace. Sorry, a very soft spot for kitties. Second, was your tree with all the lovely old ornaments. My third, was the creche. Glad you are back! Hope all is well now.

Happy New Year Scott and Salem! I love a fully loaded Christmas tree, and the green compote of old light bulbs is a cool idea. I also like the oil painting behind the angel, any story you can share about it?
